As we come into the new year, we plan to continue to same roster of people, with a few changes. However, if you'd like to make a change in your role, or you'd no longer like to serve in 9AM, please reach out to Rebecca Chiu or Kevin Wong and we can make arrangements. Thank you to all who are serving in the 9AM service.
Short Term Mission There is an opportunity to join a short term mission trip to Cambodia in June 2025. It will be for the OMF National Conference helping lead the Children's Program. If you are interested, please contact Elon Chiu ASAP.
“The Backyard" fundraising So far, we have raised $18,313 (~18% of our initial target). We still need brothers/sisters’ support to reach our initial target of $100,000 by the end of the year. We continue to pray for God's provision for us and prayerfully consider how we may each support this project financially. Contributions to the project can be made via bank transfer to the church offering account with the description “The Backyard”.
“The Backyard” Lunch will be hosted by SYD today. Please join us as we pray for the project.
Small Groups Christmas Party is on 8th December Sunday Sidehall from 12pm to 2pm. The theme will be 'Joy'! We will celebrate the Joy we find in Jesus as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
Bring a dish for potluck and a Kris kringle gift (under $15 or even a regift is recommended). Invite your friends and family for this occasion.
Christmas Fair Sat. 14th December Come join us for an afternoon of fun at our annual outdoor Christmas Fair! The fair will run from 2pm to 5:30pm. At 5:30pm, there will be a carols service in the main hall to sing together and hear a short message. The service will be followed by a delicious dinner at 6:30pm which can be purchased on the day. Invite your family and friends - we are excited to see you there! If you are able to help out on the day, please fill out the sign-up sheet on the door of the main hall, or contact Kitty on 0413651233.
Baptism Sunday will be held on 22nd Dec! Baptism is a declaration of personal faith and commitment to following Jesus. If you’re a believer and not yet been baptised, or would like to know more about baptism, please speak to Pr. Kwok or Pr. Joe.
